Medical support to underwriting & claims teams

In-house medical doctors provide our clients with guidance on the mortality and morbidity risks of new, rare or evolving medical conditions and also provide medical underwriting support for complex medical risks.

Similarly, they work closely with our claims consultants to provide medical and clinical input into the claims management strategy to facilitate optimal outcomes for end-customers. This may include liaising with treating clinicians and allied health professionals, providing guidance on best practice treatment guidelines, expected prognosis or exploring realistic recovery goals.

The team actively engages in multidisciplinary internal claims review forums to ensure a comprehensive, holistic approach to more complex claims as well as support expedited claims assessment through internal tele-referrals to our Chief Medical Officer.
